The purpose of obtaining the said permit is to confirm that the for residential and commercial building is in a suitable living condition considering its compliance to the provision of the code and to the submitted plans and specifications. However, a process should be conducted first before having Occupancy Permit.
According to the National Building Code of the Philippines, an Occupancy Permit, also known as Certificate of Occupancy, shall be issued and approved by respective Office of the Building Official before using the structure.
A certificate of Road Worthiness for Tricycles must be issued to certify that the vehicle passes as a Public Vehicle. This is based on the Municipal Ordinance No.2019-014. “An Ordinance Revising the Municipal Ordinance No.07-2014” An Ordinance Enacting the Tricycle Code in the Municipality of Puerto Galera and Appropriating Funds Thereof”, particularly, Section 12 and Section 18b.
A Watertight Certificate is issued to certify that a structure (e.g., septic tank, wastewater facility, or building component) is properly sealed and does not allow leakage, in accordance with engineering standards and local ordinances.
An STP (Sewage Treatment Plant) Connection Certificate is issued to certify that a building or establishment is properly connected to the sewage treatment system and complies with environmental and sanitation regulations.
